STORIESAbout MIROKU

Symbiotic Nara
Approximately 1300 years ago, this land, which prospered as an ancient city, brought various cultures of the continent. As Buddhism and Shinto learned here, foreign cultures and ancient Japanese cultures were eclectic and fused, creating many unique Japanese cultures.
In addition, people and deer live together in this area, and the native forest continues to be protected right next to the city, leaving a rare environment in the world.
Nara has accepted and coexisted with all cultures and values, old and new, cities and nature. The state that has continued over time will bring new awareness to us living in the future.
