GALLERY ROOM・A, a commercial gallery operated by the art communication platform ArtSticker, will be holding a solo exhibition by artist Misaki Furukawa titled "Forms" from Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 2002. Currently enrolled in Tama Art University, Department of Painting, majoring in oil painting. He creates paintings using the word "change" as a clue. He reacts to what he experiences with his five senses, and uses his line strokes to express and visualize his own mental state, which changes in subtle ways on a daily basis, on the external canvas. He brings together the changes in form and aspect of the images that are created by drawing them over and over again, and sublimates them into a single painting.

This exhibition "Forms" is Furukawa's first solo exhibition.
This exhibition will consist of a group of works that focus on the forms that Furukawa himself has recently considered while creating his own works. We will be presenting approximately seven new, colorful paintings that express both external and internal "forms" that capture the changes in oneself as images.

A commercial gallery that introduces a variety of artists who are active in Japan and overseas, regardless of age or genre, and creates a place (ROOM) for artists to present themselves. The art platform "ArtSticker" will plan and operate the event, and will hold special exhibitions on a regular basis. A place where you can experience "art" in a variety of interpretations, not only through solo exhibitions and work sales at the gallery, but also through exhibition planning in hotel rooms, workshops that take advantage of local characteristics, accommodation programs, talk events, etc. I will continue to do so.
